Erik has over 30 years' experience in corporate finance and asset  management, strategy development and restructuring projects across a wide variety of sectors, including industrial, business services, retail and consumer goods.

Prior to founding Emirates Capital, Erik founded SCP Swiss Capital-  Partners AG, a corporate finance boutique in Switzerland, which has since been integrated into Emirates Capital.

Prior to that, Erik was Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers  (PwC) Transaction Services Strategy Group in Frankfurt, focusing on commercial due diligence, strategy consulting and lead advisory for multi billion Private Equity funds in Europe and the US. He acted as Board member of a venture capital company and as Managing Director of a number of corporates.

Erik has extensive international experience in Germany, Russia, Hong Kong and Switzerland and was previously a member of the German-Russian Co-operation Council.

Erik served on the Board of a NYSE-listed company for 7 years, and he received his MBA in Business Administration from J.W. Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany.

Beside acting as a Board Member for Emirates Capital, Cambis is currently a Managing Director of Pars Int. Pharmaceutical GmbH in Munich, Germany and AGT Trading LLC in Dubai, UAE.

Prior to that, he was the Director, Vice President - Foreign Department and a Member of the Executive Board of Directors of a GCC bank with branches in London and Hamburg.

Cambis has extensive experience in asset management and he received his MBA in Business Administration and Banking Economics from the University of Munich, Germany.

Mark is the Head of Risk who brings a wide ranging and successful career as a risk professional covering 20 years. This includes industry roles working for several retail and commercial banks and financial services firms, as well as Big 4 experience working in the UK.

As a seasoned practitioner, Mark brings a positive energy to risk and helps business leaders see beyond the theory in order to achieve their strategic goals and make more informed risk decisions. Mark’s key areas of expertise include enterprise and operational risk, business continuity, risk governance and culture. Over the years, he has successfully helped design, implement and embed a range of risk management frameworks, processes and operating models, many of which have been delivered and assessed through projects, training and coaching as well as a range of assurance-based activity. Mark has an undergraduate degree with the University of Manchester and a master’s degree with the University of London. He holds professional qualifications with the Institute of Risk Management (IRM).

Gregory is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having qualified with a predecessor firm of Ernst & Young in 1982.

He subsequently worked in the accounting profession in South Africa, with a predecessor firm of KPMG, and in London, with a predecessor firm of BDO Stoy Hayward.

Gregory received a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Salford, UK.

Ben brings considerable experience gained over a successful 30-year international career within financial services, having previously worked in Compliance, Ethics, and Risk in Europe and Australia. Ben operated his own consultancy business, providing risk and compliance advisory services to financial service firms, including undertaking key regulated roles. Ben has experience in major transformation projects involving Fintech and Regtech implementation. He is a certified ethics and conduct advisor who brings extensive experience in developing and managing compliance and conducting risk and ethics programs.

Ben is a Certified Ethics & Culture Advisor (Institute of Banking Ireland - IOB) and Licentiate of Compliance Institute Ireland. Ben holds Professional Diplomas in Leading Cultural Change & Ethical Behaviour (IOB) and Compliance Management (Compliance institute, Ireland). He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Corporate, Finance & Securities Law (University of Sydney, Australia), Diploma in Financial Planning (Deakin University, Australia) and Professional Certification in Financial Crime Prevention (Compliance institute, Ireland).
